We left before the PM and GG came for speech. We were too cold, tired and hungry from standing there almost for 3 hours.
夜は夜で花火があったんだけど、日本人からすると「これだけ？」って出来。日本の花火は凄いからねー。でもCanada Dayなんだからもっと頑張ろうよ？ まぁカナダ人は大騒ぎだったけど。
The fireworks at night weren't that great...since I'm Japanese and naturally have a high expectation for fireworks. Oh well, it was still a good experience.

３月なのに…３月なのに…('A`)
表示気温だけならともかく、風がものすっごい強いらしく、体感温度は−40℃と出ていて、警告も出てる。
でも学校は行かなきゃいけないのね…だって今日課題提出だから…。体感温度−40℃になったら休校にしようよ…。
ちなみに体感気温は実際の気温より低くて、−30℃程度。
暖冬はどこ？
Well, too bad. Winter hasn't forgotten about Canada! It hit us yesterday and decided to stay here for a few days.
Actually it's not that bad... I mean, it's ONLY around -20c and it looks like we will have warmer days (meaning around 0 degrees) soon. Compared to what the Prairies are experiencing it's nothing. Yet I do not enjoy waiting for my bus to come when it's -20c outside.

暖冬だって聞いてたんだけどねー。いくら暖冬でも、カナダな冬が数日くらいあるのは予想の範囲内だね。−20℃程度ならまだマシだし。でもバス待ちはキツイー。

What's the most memorable building you've lived in? （今まで住んだ建物で一番思い出深いのは？）

It has to be the SAIT res. where I live for 8 months. It was my first experience living in a school residence and I experienced most of what many students would experience in their first year living in res.
The building was brand new and we were the first ones to live there. Though there were a lot of problems with the building (especially the elevaters) it was a great place to live.
And I made 2 great friends there. They're still the coolest Canadians I've ever met.
I also have to mention this horrible apartment I lived in Ottawa...
Bug issue, leak issue, noise, heat that doesn't work properly, some creep who stole a gir's underwear from the laundry room, etc...
The leak issue was the one that bothered me the most. EVERY TIME IT RAINED IT LEAKED FROM CEILING AND WALL!! Horrible, horrible, horrible!! So I never put anything near the windows. Yes, I asked for the repair hundreds of times but all they did was just to paint over not-so-good-looking ceiling and walls. HA!! Well, the problem was the outer wall of the building so they really couldn't have done anything but still it was just awful living there. Also the people who worked at the apt. office were so useless and brainless. I was SUPER happy when I moved out.

日本語で書くの面倒だー。
美大行っていた頃に住んでいた、SAITの寮が一番のunforgettable homeです。初めての寮生活で、本当に色々な事があった。とてもいい経験と思い出。
一番の収穫は、とても素晴らしい友達２人が出来た事。
ついでにもう１つのunforgettable home...前に住んでいたアパート。
虫は出るし、うるさいし、冬は暖房が全然効かないし、下着泥棒が出たらしいし、問題だらけ。一番の問題は雨漏り！！！
雨が降る度に、天井や壁から雨が…。もうホント最悪だった。
修理を頼んでも、脳みその足りない管理会社はペンキ塗りの人を送るだけ。問題は外壁なので、大掛かりな修復工事しないとダメだってのは、猿以下の管理会社の人間でもわかってたみたいだけど。ホント最悪のアパートだった。
